Camp Bluff

“The camp will keep us safe. There is only one direction the enemy will come from, so they will have to tread through the traps.”

The man looked so confident and proud, as he prepared his bedroll for a peaceful night’s sleep.

“I’ll sleep closest to that side, so if anything were to attempt to attack us, I will be waiting!”

You wake up to shuffling, rocks shifting and falling. A snarl behind you. You lie with your back to the cliff, facing the only attack angle from the enemy. You daren’t move as you hear panting coming from right behind you. Another younger boy screams all of a sudden, and you sit bolt upright with the look of fear. Then you see them, twelve or more ghouls surround you and your group. Half of them still to finish their ascent up the cliff face!

“Only one way in, he says!!”
